We are a non-profit looking to implement RedCap for a community-based HIV testing program launching in mid-November. We need to build a secure database, and roll out RedCap on AWS. Need to assure everything in AWS is set up properly for a successful launch, approve team member access. Will also need ongoing support for at least the first few months in order to troubleshoot any issues that arise in the initial stages of the roll-out.

We are a nonprofit healthcare organization looking to migrate from GSuite to Microsoft 365/Teams. We need an expert to help with all stages, including setting up the Microsoft accounts and licenses to migrating all existing data (email and documents). Will also need to assure that all existing email settings are duplicated to assure no interruption of email services.

Looking for senior AWS resource to advise on setting up of data lake infrastructure. In particular, need ETL/data lake type of senior resource to help me figure out the intake/core storage strategy. And how to best configure IAM/VPN to ensure that I’m not just operating off either root access or completely open to the public.

We are migrating to the cloud and as a part of this, we are moving off of our old Solr installation and moving to a managed Elastic service. Your work in this job would help thousands of people and innumerable organizations access legal information. The goal of this project is to make a plan for the migration, update our Python utilities to use Elastic instead of Solr, and then make the migration. The right candidate should have experience with Python (Django is a plus), and Elastic. Knowing Solr is good too, but can be picked up since we’re moving *away* from that. We host tens of millions of legal documents and thousands of judicial profiles. It is one of the biggest open legal databases in the world.

We are a nonprofit seeking a collaboration session. We would like someone to assess our environment, assist in building out a roadmap for the year, recommend different technical support positions to start. Some responsibilities include developing a strategic vision, raising funding for our technology, and planning out the year. This may turn into a longer term engagement, meeting for 5-10 hours per week.

We need some help finishing the migration of our Drupal website over to AWS. We have the site more or less 90% moved over and we’d like some help with the last 10%. We have the Drupal site running in Docker, connecting to an RDS instance, and deployed using Beanstalk. There are a few docker issues we have to iron out, like the static CSS/JS aren’t being built. We’d also like to set up CI/CD with our GitHub account to streamline deployment.

AWS Data Lake. The Data Lake will centralize large amounts of data from multiple sources, including but not limited to: multiple electronic health record systems, local Health Information Exchange, insurance claims and other financial data, HR/ADP, Learning Management System, and more. This will allow MHA to make more strategic decisions with real-time data and provide more opportunities for measurement-based care and improved client outcomes. The overall structure will include the following: S3 for storage, Lake Formation, Athena, Power BI & SSMS. We are looking for an resource to advise our team throughout the Data Lake build. The team needs an ETL/Data Lake senior resource to help us with the Lake Formation process, including FindMatches against multiple data sources.

We have a docker image that we are hosting in AWS. We want to be actually running in AWS so we can connect to it externally. We want someone to – verify that we have correctly uploaded our docker service. – create a Postgresql database to connect to our docker service. – add a new revision with the updated environment variables and let us know if there are any errors – connect the database – write instructions on the steps you completed so we can properly update our service if needed. We also are uploading one of our servers to Elastic Beanstalk. We have the server ready to be uploaded as a fatjar. What we need help with is someone setting up the Redis Cache so that our server can access it. Also, setting up a domain and SSL through Route 53.

We are a small non-profit seeking a security analyst who has expertise in federal and state regulations such as HIPAA, FERPA, and CCPA. The individual will help ensure compliance for a software application we are currently developing. The person will interact with the development team and provide input on all security-related items. Knowledge of encryption at rest or in transit is a plus.

We are a non-profit seeking assistance with migrating React applications from one AWS account to another. The applications are in production so this would include updating DNS with preferably no downtime.

We are looking for someone to help us replicate our infrastructure and data in one AWS Account to another new account. We are a small, upstart team with limited AWS experience trying to preserve our work from being hijacked. This task should be done as covertly as possible. Our team is working on a government-funded grant to bring the latest in flooding research science and technology to benefit the public good. Our project’s mission is to provide accurate flooding predictions across the continental US to improve disaster planning, emergency response, and financial planning to government agencies such as FEMA, EPA, and county-level agencies as well as local business owners and citizens. Please help us ensure this critical work is preserved and protected to ensure that our research and data make it into the hands of those who can turn it into actionable results that saves lives, time and money.

We are a museum collections database and we have grown organically since 2009, accumulating code from various developers. The backend data comes from a ResourceSpace DAM and a proprietary Minisis collections database, both located on premises. The front end lives in AWS, using S3, RDS, EC2 (wordpress, Solr), and a variety of code gluing it all together, mostly in PHP. Our immediate need is for someone to assist in refactoring code that generates DeepZoom image pyramids from original high-resolution collections images. We envision this being implemented as a Lambda function using the Sharp imaging library, likely written in Node.js or Python. The code needs to receive a work assignment, download the original image from S3, generate tiles, reupload them to a designated parallel path in an S3 bucket, and check the assignment back in. Depending on the success of this project, we may wish to discuss other optimization work in the future.

Media files will be dropped as quicktime movie (.mov) files into two folders on a local windows 10 machine. One folder being files for a 1920 x 1080 format and the other folder being for a 1280 x 720 format. Once those files arrive into their folders we want to have them automatically sent up to S3 and placed into their 1080 and 720 buckets then removed off of win10 pc. Once sent then automatically encode them to an mpeg 2 transport stream file with AC3 dolby digital audio with a .mpg extension. Then send .mpg files back to win10 pc. This process needs to be hands free and process needs to be documented and explained in case of unforeseen future events.
